Join the Opera Society committee and have a say in decisions that affect all members.

The committee meets usually once a month at the Opera Australia premises on City Road, Southbank. Committee members are appointed by vote at Annual General Meetings, or may be co-opted by current committee members. Each Committee member is elected for 3 years and may choose to stand for re-election after that time.

 

The executive comprises the President, Treasurer, Vice-President and Secretary who are selected from the elected committee. There may be a number of ordinary committee members. ​Committee tasks might include assisting with organisation of lunches, managing bookings, sending emails to members, attending Melba Trust events etc.
